Older adults need to stay physically, mentally and spiritually active in order to remain independent and maintain a high quality of life. Healthy Living for Seniors is a whole-person program for older adults in public housing.
Our expert team of staff and volunteers offer classes on nutrition, health and wellness, living on a budget and home safety. Clergy and lay leaders from local churches assist with programs that address spiritual needs.
This program is free of charge and serves residents of Glenwood Towers and Carriage House communities in Raleigh. Activities available to residents include:
- Arts & Crafts
- Bingo
- Knitting and Crochet
- Outings to Museums
- Walking Group
- Book Club
